Michelle Rendón Ochoa is a first-generation Colombian American educator pursuing a Ph.D. in Urban Education at the Graduate Center, CUNY. She engages with community-based research, arts-based methods, and youth driven research projects. Her research interests encompass suburban schooling, Latine studies, oral history, immigration, and translanguaging.
