I am an associate professor of English at Hunter College of the City University of New York (CUNY), where I also direct the Academic Center for Excellence in Research and Teaching (ACERT). I am a socio/applied linguist interested in questions about English language learning in relation to identity, nationalism, globalization, and teaching policies.
