I am a doctoral candidate in Sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center. My dissertation focuses on the role of gamification in education, specifically how game-based pedagogy fits into narratives around the purpose of learning and education. I am passionate about pedagogy, and have taught as an adjunct instructor at several CUNY colleges since 2011.
