Franca Ferrari-Bridgers

Dr. Franca Ferrari-Bridger was born in Milan, Italy. She holds a Master’s degree in Hispano-American languages and literatures (1995) from the Università Statale, Milan, Italy, and a Master’s degree in Linguistics (1998) from the Freie Universitaet, Berlin, Germany. In 1998 she moved to the Unites States and in 2005 she received a Ph.D. in Theoretical Linguistics from New York University and in 2016 she completed a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology at Brooklyn College CUNY. Dr. Ferrari-Bridgers’ research interests are in the field of linguistics, psycholinguistics, listening assessments, pedagogical research in high impact practices and in higher education in prison. In her free time Dr. Ferrari-Bridgers enjoys running, volunteering and listening to rap music.
